Electrical Galvanized Steel Coils

electro-galvanization employs an electric current to deposit dissolved zinc onto the surface of the material to be plated. This method offers uniform coating thickness and decorative properties, making it a preferred choice for various applications. However, unlike hot-dip galvanization, electro-galvanized materials typically undergo chromate treatment to enhance corrosion resistance and prevent white powdery corrosion formation.

Galvanized sheet： In order to prevent corrosion on the surface of the steel sheet and to prolong its service life, a layer of metallic zinc is applied to the surface of the steel sheet.

Hot dip galvanizing: A thin steel sheet immersed in a molten zinc bath to deposit a layer of zinc on its surface. Currently, the main production method is continuous galvanizing, in which rolled steel sheets are continuously immersed in a molten zinc bath to produce galvanized steel sheets.

Electrogalvanized steel codes combine three elements:  

1. Base metal grade (e.g., SPCC, SPCD)  
2. Process identifier "E" (electrogalvanized)  
3. Zinc coating specification (type/mass)  

#electrogalvanizedsteel (EGI)Compared to GI, this material offers enhanced performance with a smaller coating thickness while retains a more aesthetically appealing and flawless finish, creating a more comfortable life while fostering productivity at work. Electrogalvanized steel: This type of galvanized steel is produced by electroplating the steel with zinc. This creates a thinner, smoother zinc coating. Electrogalvanized steel is often used in applications where a high-quality finish is required.
