Galvanized steel pipe is a welded steel pipe with a hot-dip or electroplated galvanized layer on its surface. Galvanizing can increase the corrosion resistance of steel pipes and extend their service life. Galvanized pipes have a wide range of applications. In addition to being used as pipeline pipes for general low-pressure fluids such as water, gas, and oil, they are also used as oil well pipes and oil pipelines in the petroleum industry, especially in marine oil fields.

The welding process of the erw pipe is to use the skin-receiving principle generated by the high-frequency current to heat the edge of the hot-rolled coil to a molten state, and then perform welding by a mechanical extrusion method. The steel pipe produced by the process will have a white fusion line at the center of the weld, and the heat-affected zone on both sides of the fusion line will have a metal flow line extending from the middle to the inner and outer surfaces. Since the erw pipe is made of a base material as a welding material, the performance of the weld seam has a great relationship with the performance of the base material. In ordinary materials, the ductile-brittle transition temperature curve of the weld and the base metal. In ordinary materials, the difference in absorbed energy values between the weld and the base material in the Charpy impact test is small. On the contrary, there is a big difference in the high toughness material, and the weld impact toughness is obviously inferior to the base metal, but it is obviously superior to the weld of the ordinary material.

Seamless steel pipe is a circular pipe having a hollow section and no seams around it. The seamless steel pipe is made of carbon steel, alloy steel, stainless steel ingot or solid tube blank, and then is made by hot rolling, cold rolling or cold drawing. Seamless pipes are considered superior to welded pipes as they are built using monolithic steel billets, with intrinsic mechanical strength, without seam welds.

Hot rolled pickled and oiled (HRPO) steel is a type of steel that undergoes a pickling and oiling process after being hot rolled. The pickling process removes scale and rust from the steel's surface, while the oiling process applies a protective layer of oil to prevent rust from forming in the future. The resulting steel is easier to work with, possesses many fabricating advantages, and has a smoother surface finish than hot-rolled steel that has not undergone this process.

Cold rolled steel is essentially hot rolled steel that has been through further processing. Once hot rolled steel has cooled, it is then re-rolled at room temperature to achieve more exact dimensions and better surface qualities.

Hot dip galvanizing: A thin steel sheet immersed in a molten zinc bath to deposit a layer of zinc on its surface. Currently, the main production method is continuous galvanizing, in which rolled steel sheets are continuously immersed in a molten zinc bath to produce galvanized steel sheets.

Commonly known as color-coated steel sheet, it is made of high quality cold-rolled steel sheet, hot-dip galvanized steel sheet or aluminium galvanized steel sheet as the substrate. After surface degreasing, phosphating and chromate treatment conversion, it is coated with organic paint and baked.
